This project is fun! After I learned about framing, so I went outside and realized that "frames" are everywhere around us, only if we look close enough! All of these pictures I made on Slideshow, were taken in Highgate, at some friend's place. She has a swamp right by her home, so I went for the walk. There are so many things that I could make it into a frame. I also learned that if I cropped a little on some pictures, it would make a huge difference; to see the natural frame much better. Personally there are two photographs I liked the best: the small walking bridge on the swamp and a lady standing in the garage looking outside. I also liked to make varies of photographs, in colors and B&W. I took each picture in both, colors and B&W then I noticed that some pictures looked better in colors or other.
my faves are b&w one through the window! That's awesome composition and the b&w adds to the gritty "feel" of the photo. I also like the one looking through the grid of window panes to the yard. The structure in the yard is colorful and bold, plus rule of thirds, and the yellow light on the grass acts as leading lines to bring the eye right to it. Awesome.
I love your slideshow. I like shooting outdoor pictures too, but you have taken some very unique pictures. I love the love with the bright light shining like a star. Great job. The black and white picture is striking too.
Brennan - these were absolutely beautiful!! There wasn't one photo in your slideshow that I didn't like! You did such a great job with this framing assigment. If I had to choose the one that I thought was the best it would have to be the black & white through the window. The angle of the window casing and the rule of thirds were both terrific!
Brennan, Wonderful pictures! I love the picture taken with the bridge as the frame, and like everyone else the black and white photo is stunning! Great job! Amanda
I really love the b&w with the girl looking out the window. The framing is really cool and making it black and white gives it a somber feel. The one looking through the window panes into the grass is very neat. The yellow shape looks like a chair and the red on it looks like a woman's face. Does anyone else see this!?
I was drawn to the pictures that included the bridge. I love pictures like that. They have their own beauty and character. The bridge could tell so many different stories. Inside the tent was really interesting as well.
