This view of sunrise over the ridges in VA. The first photo had weak colors. So i made more saturation. there now is more colors in the second pic. I liked the second photo since there are good colors. I liked how red tree stands in the photo.
Last two photos are at the top of Lowell Mountain viewing of Jay Peak. It was when I left my mother's home to my home. the first picture was too plain from the sun. So I made it into less light to show more shadow. now the second picture, after making it darker, seems clearer with shadows. It enhanced lot of details.
It was interesting to play with GIMP for color and light. However i like them as my tool for editing my photos!
I love the first picture! What a huge difference when you changed the coloring. I agree the second one looks better with the darker coloring. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI really liked what you did with your pictures. Color and light are my favorite to work with.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are beautiful in your edited first picture. You really brought out all the gorgeous colors in the foliage. Great job!

I like how you were able to make the colors more intense in the first photo. It makes the photo more appealing. I like how you were able to tone the sun down in the second photo so it's not as overwhelming. It helped darken up the green of the grass as well. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteI really like the fist picture the way the purple color has been enhanced. Actually all the colors look so much brighter but it works. If I hadn't seen the original I would have thoughts those where the true colors in the photo. The other picture is great as well. The light shinning through it is a beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteThe altered picture of the first picture is great! I makes the color of the trees really pop! Nice choice in colors.
